Medicine Hat Tournament All-Stars


Jansen Harkins named MVP, Top Forward
 Five of the six positions on the All Star team were filled by B.C. players.
First Team All-Stars

Goal – Taz Burman, North Shore Winter Club

Def – Joe Gatenby, Pursuit of Excellence Kelowna
Def – Ty Schultz, Burnaby Winter Club

For – Giorgio Estephan, Edmonton South Side Athletic Club
For – Jansen Harkins, North Shore Winter Club
For – Adam Musil, Burnaby Winter Club

Individual Awards were presented to the following,
The Fred Standing Memorial trophy for Most Sportsmanlike Team – Kamloops Jardine Blazers

Best Coach Award – Mike Scardina, Semiahmoo Ravens

Dennis Moss Memorial Trophy for Most Outstanding Goaltender – Taz Burman, North Shore Winter Club

Cliff Peterson Memorial Trophy for Most Outstanding Defenseman – Joe Gatenby, Pursuit of Excellence Kelowna

Brent Reid Memorial Trophy for Tournament MVP – Jansen Harkens, North Shore Winter Club.
-Jansen had 8 goals and 6 assists up to the Semi Final game.$2500.00 Scholarship awards presented by the Medicine Hat Tigers and team owners, the Maser family. Awarded to the Tournament MVP – Jansen Harkens, North Shore Winter Club, and the top player from the Medicine Hat Hockey Hounds – Xavier Burghardt.
