Which province has the most competitive AAA league?

It'll be interesting to see how this list changes after Medicine Hat when the B.C. teams play some top teams from other Provinces.

the Bc teams will get crushed

How do you think POE and BWC compare to Alberta teams like the Bisons and Spruce Grove?

How do teams get so many goals on the Bisons? Are they just run and gun and forget the defense? Are they the 1980s Oilers reincarnated?

Very poor goaltending is the Bisons Problem!!

I think the last comment on the Bisons is incomplete and lacking facts. The Bisons top end players are very good, there is a massive drop off in talent afterwards. Defensively speaking the Bison are very poor at best at both ends and at both blue lines. If you have watched the Bisons play this year you will notice very quickly that the d men are small and play small outside of 1 kid. The goaltending has not been great as far as the season goes, but I do know that the goalies have stollen a few games already,to start ask the Royals. If the Bisons are to have success in the playoffs the team defense will have to improve alot and the centerman will have to be taught on what to do once a faceoff is won or lost.

The Bison are improving defensively but lets call it like it is take away the two scorers up front and these guys are in trouble. The Goalie are playing well the team just runs and guns and sees if you can keep up. So far no one has been able to that may change last year Bisons team looked alot the same.

Just wanted to chime in on the last comments; Point & MacMaster are very, very good hockey players, they both get it. Last years Bisons squad was deeper, lots of kids drafted last year. This years Bisons team may have upto 6 kids, we'll see how it goes.
The coach of the Bisons better figure out his team defense, his defense from last year where much deeper, physical, aggressive and better skating etc. Martin on the back end is a great start, massive drop off past Martin. Maybe the coach can bring out the best of the other defensemen, wait til 2011 to see. The scoring and goaltending will be just fine for the Bisons this year. Just want to make 1 more point about the Bisons 2 studs up front, it is a shame that both Point & MacMaster will not be allowed to attend the All Star game, both those kids deserve to attend that event, it's a shame.

Are you guys still doing player of the weeks? Also, how did other teams do in the Kamloops tournament? Like Spokane, Vernon, Kelowna, Chillwack and Prince George.

Western teams play tougher then central Canada???No way...Winnipeg Sharks came in third in the Kamloops tournament this weekend but it wasn't because kamloops was a better team it was because of the Sharks aggressive clean play. Sharks least penalized team in Wpg AAA yet they spent a great deal of time in the penalty box during the semi-final game in Kamloops...why????both teams very equal advantage goes to kamloops for the home advantage refs???

It will be a shame that both those players are not aloud to the allstar game. You think the best players should be there but for those two in wont matter they have both been great.Point plays a better two way game I think but Mac Master has been a goal scoring machine (point totals are close. I guess it comes down to who you like better a Crosby(Point) or an Ovechkin(Macmaster)Id like to have both

Any predictions for Medicine Hat Tournament next week?

I would think the royals will have a good chance if goaltending holds up. I can see them putting together a good weekend and winning

You guy's are in dream world , when you compare them to Crosby and Ovechkin. LOL
