Couple Friday notes....

Last night in the GSHL, the Saskatoon Frostbite defeated the Saskatoon Maniacs 8-7. The Frostbite got 2 goals and 2 assists from Jesse Shynkaruk. Shynkaruk now has 23 goals and a team leading 30 points in 16 games. 97 born Cameron Hebig had a goal and an assist, Hebig is 2nd in team scoring with 8-21-29 pts this season. Dawson Leedahl and Jimmy Lambert each had strong games for the Maniacs.

In the South Sask Bantam league, Grant Naherniak turned aside 43 shots and D.J. Crane scored the only goal as Lumsden defeated the Regina Canucks 1-0. Naherniak who we have ranked as one of the better goaltending prospects from the province of Saskatchewan for the draft has played in every league game except for 1 game this season and has a 2.87GAA.

Minor thing... it was Aldergrove 6 - Coquitlam 3. Port Coquitlam is in a different flight.

Surrey and abbotsford was good game, abbotsford scored late in the game for the winner.
