Buffalo Super Series Underway

For the American readers, the Buffalo 97Super series is underway already this morning.  There are two western U.S.A teams taking part that we will focus on that are taking part.  The Colorado U14 Thunderbirds and the Dallas Ice Jets are the two teams taking part and they were both in action this morning.

Team Comcast 2 - Colorado Thunderbirds 2
Many U.S. draft picks are expected to be taken from the Colorado Thunderbirds team at the WHL bantam draft and this morning they were able to tie a very good Team Comcast squad.  Scoring for the Thunderbirds was Christos Zinas and Corey Hard.  Players of note on the Thunderbirds to watch this tournament will be highly skilled Troy Terry and star defenseman Logan Fauber and Zach Goberis.

York Simcoe Express 3 - Dallas Ice Jets 1
The Ice Jets fall 3-1 to the York Simcoe Express this morning.  The main reason for the loss could be pinned on the lack of PP production for Dallas as they went 0/7.  Gary Burk scored the lone goal for Dallas in the loss.
