Arizona Bobcats win the USHL Labour Day Tournament in San Jose



The favourite heading in to this weekends tournament down in San Jose were the Arizona Bobcats in a tournament which included; Alaska Jr. Aces, Alaska All Stars, Texas Alliance, San Jose Jr. Sharks and the Colorado Rampage, ended up victorious.

The Arizona Bobcats rolled to a perfect 6-0-0, while out-scoring their opponents 35-10.  In the final, the Bobcats came on top with a 6-3 victory over the Texas Alliance, led by Blake Bargar and Phillip Knies each with two goals.  Both Bargar and Knies are in our top 40 Western USA rankings.

Leading the the way in tournament scoring was Phillip Knies with 9 goals and 4 assists, which also included 2 GWG and 3 SHG while Blake Bargar who came over to the Bobcats program from the LA Jr. Kings was second with 6 goals and 6 assists.
